Leaves of Learning Academy has a few selected teachers teaching this specialized math camp, teachers who are truly experts with the 4th grade learner, curriculum, and research-based instructional strategies. We do not teach our learners to memorize mathematics. We work to build a deep understanding of mathematical concepts. I have been teaching elementary school for 23 years, most of that time being in 4th grade. I have a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education with an additional 30 hour concentration in the sciences in the state of Ohio and a Masters Degree in Education plus an additional 45 graduate credit hours in math, literacy and curriculum. I have taught language arts, social studies, math, science, and STEM lab.

In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
1 hour 30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
