4th Grade Math Full Curriculum Summer Camp | Games, Friends, Learning, & Fun!

In this course, we will review 4th math standards through direct instruction, guided practice, problem solving, games, projects, and Number Talks. This course is ideal for students who have just completed 4th grade and want to strengthen their skills before moving on to 5th, or for higher achieving students entering 4th grade in the fall who want to get a jump start on their 4th grade math skills.

🧩 Week Two: Place Value, Number Sense and Operations
-Estimating/Rounding
-Addition and Subtraction of Large Numbers

-Multiplying Multi-Digit Numbers
-Multiplication in Problem Solving

🔎 Week Four: Division
-Dividing Large Numbers
-Dividing in Problem Solving
-Interpreting Remainders in Division

📒 Week Five: Fractions
-Generating Equivalent Fractions for Given Fractions
-Comparing and Ordering Fractions

✏ Week Six: Fractions
-Adding and Subtracting Fractions with Like Denominators
-Multiplying Fractions

📐 Week Seven: Decimals
-Relating Fractions to Decimals to Tenths and Hundredths
-Comparing and Ordering Decimals
-Adding and Subtracting Decimals

❇ Week Eight: Geometry
-Identifying Geometrical Figures Such As Points, Lines, Line Segments, Rays, Angles, and Polygons
-Classifying Quadrilaterals
-Classifying Other Polygons
-Using a Protractor to Measure Angles


💻 I will also assign optional assignments and games each week which support the skills we are learning. 💻

Students will need to bring scrap paper and a pencil to class each day.
