Class Experience

US Grade 4
During this course, we will cover the entirety of the 4th grade math curriculum using the CCSS standards. In order to cover such a wide range of topics in such a short amount of time, there will be videos posted prior to every class that students must watch and come to class prepared to discuss. I utilize a "flipped" model of teaching where the students get the lesson BEFORE attending class and we work through the actual problems during our LIVE sessions where students can ask questions and get clarification on the concepts.
My classes are fun, fast paced, silly, and taught by a teacher that struggled with math growing up, so I "get" why your child is struggling and how to help.
Please see the course syllabus for a list of daily topics to be covered.
Learning Goals
By the end of this course, your learner will be able to confidently demonstrate a deep knowledge of the concepts taught in the 4th grade math classroom today.
