Homework Offered
I will provide 2-5 example problems for homework after each class. This is voluntary and will be reviewed at the beginning of the next class. If a student is struggling, they can post their concerns on the classroom wall for more clarification. Homework should not take more than 10 minutes per assignment.
Assessments Offered
I will assess students in class based on their participation and homework (if they do their homework). Students will also have occasional quizzes. I can also provide a progress report at the end of the course. Please let me know if you would like a letter grade for this class.
Grades Offered
Students need to have taken 3rd grade math or have been tested on a 4th grade level.
Students should have a math journal to keep their notes in and solve example problems. A small marker board and/or some sheet protectors, along with some dry erase markers would be beneficial for class participation, but is not required. A printer would also be beneficial for notes, but is not required. No textbooks or subscriptions are required.
