In this homeschool class, students will receive a full fourth grade experience through Science, Math, Social Studies, English, Writing, and Reading. Students will be taught by a certified teacher and a homeschool teacher.

Class Experience
Classes will be held Monday-Thursday, each week with chances for individual help with the teacher before or after each class. Looking for a learning pod? Come join our learning pod. Students will be able to work with the same group of students and teacher throughout 2021-2022 school year. Students will be educated on Reading/Writing, Math, Science, and Social Studies based on the Common Core fourth grade curriculum.

Homework will be assigned in this class, however it is optional for students to complete. Homework will be given everyday afternoon after class. Students will be able to view their homework assignments in the learners section. Homework is optional for students, however, we do encourage family to complete it as it is important to students learning.

In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
Assessments will be assigned in this class, however, it is optional for students to complete.
6 hours per week in class, and no time outside of class.
In this class we will be using IXL as our learning intervention. It will help enforce what is being taught in class. IXL has been approved by Outschool for students to use. Students will receive a username and password to log into IXL during the first week of class. Please understanding that IXL is optional, it is not a requirement. Social Studies covers the following: (Our Social Studies curriculum is used commonly in the public schools; your learner maybe very familiar with it. We will be using Pearson: Social Studies book. We will also be using 180 Day of Fourth-Grade Social Studies). You do not need to purchase this book for your learner. For Math will do use the Eureka Curriculum.
Students will not any workbooks for this class. You will receive PDF copies weekly.
