Class Experience

US Grade 4
Students will learn everything in 4th grade and much more in this class. Students will learn Spelling, Grammar, Reading, Math, Science, Social Studies, and Test-taking skills. Classes will be held three times each week with chances for individual help with Miss Erika before or after each class.

In this full curriculum class, students will receive all the necessary tools to be successful in fourth grade. We aim to ensure that learning is fun and successful for every learner. We will have learners share their music, dancing, and chanting. This will allow students to build a community within the class.

Students will have access to weekly printables. The teacher will post the outline of the lesson along with printables every Sunday. If you enroll midweek, no problem, the teacher will send you the printers. In this class, students will be assigned homework. Homework is to enhance our class lesson. Please encourage your learner to complete homework assignments. Each class will begin with a welcome and a bell ringer. A bell ringer is used as a moment to teach a lesson of the day, such as grammar and mental math. Then, the teacher will begin the lesson. All learners need to focus and come to class ready. When learners come to class prepared, it allows them to focus and participate more.
*Please note that this class with have 2 teachers. One teacher will focus strictly on Math.

All class materials will be provided to students through the Outschool platform.

We will read reading materials during our class visits. All reading materials will be on-grade level.
