In this ongoing course, we will meet once a week for our morning fourth grade circle time! Each week we will be covering a different 4th grade topic. Each class will be broken down as so:

Introduction to this week's topic: 10 minutes
Game or practice activity (Kahoot, Nearpod, Jeopardy, etc): 10 minutes
Discussion and review: 5 minutes

We will practice many subjects throughout this course, and we will review concepts such as multi-step multiplication, division of larger numbers, creating graphs, reducing fractions, parts of speech, punctuation such as commas, apostrophes and quotation marks, more advanced reading comprehension strategies to understand text- including making inferences, determining the main idea and identifying key details, world geography including maps, hemispheres, coordinates, mountains and scale, and make good friends! Each learner should bring paper and a writing utensil to each class, and of course, be ready to have fun! This class is great as a supplement to virtual schooling as well as homeschooling. This class is great for students who are in 4th grade, about to start 4th grade, or any student who would like to review 4th grade concepts! I can't wait to see you in class! 

Week of April 17th: multiplication
Week of April 24th: parts of speech
Week of May 1st: division
Week of May 8th: Personal Narrative Writing
Week of May 15th:  fractions
Week of May 22nd: punctuation
