Join this thrilling, interactive 4-day camp where students will use their close reading skills to solve engaging puzzles and escape virtual mystery rooms! 

🕵️‍♀️🔍 Each day, we’ll dive into a different story, decoding clues, analyzing texts, and using critical thinking to crack the case. Students will work through fun puzzles such as riddles, hidden messages, vocabulary challenges, and timeline ordering—all based on high-interest themes like haunted libraries, pirate treasure hunts, and time travel! 🏴‍☠️⏳

Throughout the camp, students will collaborate with peers to crack the codes and escape each room. 

🧩🤝 Each day’s puzzles and challenges are designed to develop their reading comprehension, vocabulary, and critical thinking skills while fostering teamwork and problem-solving. 🎯

By the end of this camp, students will be expert close readers, able to analyze texts, infer meaning, and apply their reading skills in real-world scenarios! 📖💡

Lesson 1:
Day 1: The Haunted Library
 The students arrive at a haunted library where mysterious books have started to vanish. The only way to find out what happened is to solve clues hidden within the library's texts. They must work together to decode a cryptic message and find the missing books before the ghostly librarian locks them in forever!

Lesson 2:
Day 2: The Missing Diamond
 The students are in a luxurious mansion and discover that the priceless diamond, known as the “Heart of the Ocean,” has gone missing! They must piece together the clues left behind by the thief using close reading to locate the diamond before it’s lost forever.

Lesson 3:
Day 3: The Enchated Forest
 The students have entered a magical forest and discovered a hidden realm where the creatures need their help. A mystical artifact that holds the balance of nature has been stolen, and only by reading the enchanted scrolls can the students recover it and restore balance.

Day 4: The Time Travel Conundrum
 A mysterious time machine has malfunctioned, and the students are trapped in different time periods! They need to read historical clues to piece together how to fix the machine and return to the present before they get stuck in time forever.

Parental Guidance
Students will read mystery stories with minor suspense and puzzle-solving elements, but no frightening or disturbing content.
