Class Experience

US Grade 4

CLASS EXPERIENCE

The student will be guided through different example problems in a way that builds up their understanding.
We use worksheets to help guide instruction. These are organized so that students learn valuable mental math techniques, and number sense, and develop a deeper understanding of math. We will teach new material and have them practice what we teach. If a student asks an excellent question or is unsure about something we may have a class discussion to talk about it.

Students can ask questions by raising their hands or using the classroom chat function. Our teachers give plenty of time for students to go over the core problems and the rest is left for homework.

There will be different topics covered in each session based on who is present, but the main idea is to cover the concepts, word problems, and practice during each session. While it is based on a specific book series, please let me know if you have a different one.
