Class Experience
In our one on one coaching session we will focus on establishing the given circumstances of a scene or monologue. We will break down the beats of a piece and work to uncover the character's want and driving force behind their actions. The student will work on a monologue or scene of their choosing or can opt to be assigned one by the teacher. We will work together to find out what acting methods work best for the student, as every one learns differently. If students prefer to work on a scene, I am also happy to work with them as a scene partner and find the beats in our scene as well as the character's want and the tactics they will use throughout the scene to achieve this.
Learning Goals
The student will become more comfortable performing a monologue or scene
The student will be familiar with various acting techniques in which to pull from when working on a piece
