Tutoring is offered in 45 minute sessions and covers any topics from 5th grade math through Algebra II. Students can come to tutoring with questions or Mrs. Welch will assess students at the beginning of tutoring for 5 to 15 minutes before jumping into a topic. My teaching style is interactive with students, students are expected to have video on and be able to communicate. I teach concepts using a whiteboard, review example problems together, then give students the opportunity to practice...
Students will learn a variety of mathematical concepts that are tailored to match the students' skill levels and needs. Learning goals will be established at the beginning of each tutoring session and a copy of the lecture/notes will be shared with students for reference.
Bachelors Degree in Math Education 18 credits of Math for Master's Degree 10+ years of teaching/tutoring experience (5th through 12th Grade)
Homework Offered
Homework will be assigned only to students that have a tutoring schedule as needed or optional for students who would like additional problems to practice.Assessments Offered
