Description
Class Experience
Class participants will have the opportunity to learn about the 4 types of sentences by participating in various interactive activities during class. The session will consist of a brief review before introducing the four types of sentences. We will use our classroom time to learn about the following sentence types: * Declarative- A sentence that makes a statement, begins with a capital letter, and ends with a period. * Interrogative- A sentence that...
Learning Objectives: Students will review recognizing and creating complete sentences, the four types of sentences, and capitalizing the first word of sentences.
I have 15 years of classroom experience teaching grammar to elementary students. I enjoy guiding students toward learning to express themselves in their writing. I have published one book, and I am working on another one during my spare time.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
30 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
Basic reading and writing skills are required for this class.
