Class participants will have the opportunity to learn about the 4 types of sentences by participating in various interactive activities during class. The session will consist of a brief review before introducing the four types of sentences. We will use our classroom time to learn about the following sentence types: * Declarative- A sentence that makes a statement, begins with a capital letter, and ends with a period. * Interrogative- A sentence that asks a question, begins with a capital letter, and ends with a question mark. * Exclamatory- A sentence that shows sudden or strong feeling, begins with a capital letter, and ends with an exclamation point. * Imperative- A sentence that gives a command or request, begins with a capital letter, and ends with an exclamation point or period.
Learning Goals
Learning Objectives: Students will review recognizing and creating complete sentences, the four types of sentences, and capitalizing the first word of sentences.

Parental Guidance
Basic reading and writing skills are required for this class.
