Class Experience

US Grade Kindergarten - 12
Shigeru Ohmori, the planning director for Sun and Moon, has said that the 12 "Ultra Beast" Pokemon are inspired by Invasive Species. In this flex class, we'll explore which invasive species each Ultra Beast might be inspired by, citing similarities and differences. Along the way, we'll learn about how invasive species spread, and the impact that invasive species can have on their new environment. Although this class's emphasis is on invasive species, we will briefly cover some other possible inspirations for each Ultra Beast, too.

This is a self-paced course; each lesson contains one recording (each about 10-15 minutes long) plus extension activities to expand your learning beyond the recording. All extension activities are optional and at the discretion of the parent.

Need a discount? Sure thing! All of my self-paced courses are "pay what you can afford." To get the discount you need, sign up for the course first, then message me with the discount you would like, and I will apply a partial refund. This must be done before the end of the first week of class.

Most of my classes come with projects or extension activities your child can do at home. Because every family situation is different, all of these activities and assignments are optional and at the discretion of the parent.
