Etymology - studying how Latin can be found in our every day English is a fun and interesting way to learn about our language, this is a condensed form of my ongoing etymology class.

Class Experience

Our class will be an interactive class.
Using media clips and discussion students will be introduced to common Latin word parts that we see in everyday English. To reinforce the information that has been presented we will use a Jeopardy format to help the Greek afixes/ roots become committed to memory through defining, spelling and using the presented vocabulary.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
3 hours per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Dear Parents - please note that You Tube links are used in this course. Parental guidance is suggested as sensitive photos and topics can often appear in You Tube side bars.
