Beginner - Advanced Level
This summer course will be a great opportunity to get a head start on third-grade math concepts or gain more individualized practice for students who have just completed third grade. This course will cover the basics of the Common Core Third Grade Math Standards. We recommend that students who are either entering third grade or who have just completed third grade enroll in this course. However, if you feel your child is excelling in math and needs a challenge, please feel free to enroll them! Due to the fact that this is a self-paced course, students who are already taking 3rd-grade math can enroll for additional support and practice. Homeschooled students can enroll in a complete 3rd-grade math review. Videos will be provided weekly along with practice assignments, homework, and additional activities. Students will use the Outschool classroom to access all materials and homework. These math lessons will integrate real-world and engaging topics. Students will be provided with several different options for homework every week which include visual, real-world and concrete assignments. Each week, students will receive an instructional video, interactive lesson, homework, and a final review activity and/or assignment.
Learning Goals
Students will review the 3rd Grade Common Core Math Standards.
