What Are Some Animal Life Cycles? (pages 101-113)
Before class - Read and complete pages 102-109 Show and Tell: Students may show, or just tell us about their favorite insect. Complete together in class - pages 101, 110-112 *Optional at-home activity: Plant a bean seed and graph the growth on page 113.

What Are Structural Adaptations? (pages 115-126)
Before class - Please read and complete pages 116-123 Show and Tell: Show or tell us about an animal and it's adaptation. Complete together in class - pages 115, 124-126 *Students will need a party blower next week.

What Are Behavioral Adaptations? (pages 131-140)
Before class - Please ask your child to finish their frog's tongue. They may add something sticky or figure out another way for it to pick up something small. Please read and complete pages 132-139. Show and Tell: Students may bring an animal toy or book to show us an animal that either hibernates or migrates. For examples, they can look in their book on pages 136-138. Complete together in class - pages 131, review graph 139, 141
