Hello and welcome! 👋

Thank you so much for your interest in our Minecraft-themed 3rd Grade Math Review Class — I’m so glad you’re here! 🌟

This class uses fun, Minecraft-inspired visuals and activities to make math review exciting and relatable. It’s a great way to help your child stay sharp over the summer while having fun with a theme they already love! (The actual game, Minecraft, will not be played during this class.)

Week of July 21:

In this ongoing weekly class, learners will review and practice key 3rd grade math skills through fun, interactive activities — all with a **Minecraft-inspired twist**!

Each session is filled with games and engaging challenges designed to make math feel exciting and approachable. Your child will look forward to coming back every week!

With years of experience, I’ve found that incorporating play into learning is one of the most effective ways to boost confidence, build skills, and keep kids motivated.

✨ Each class stands on its own, so students can jump in at any time — no need to attend in order! 👍

Class Outline:

1. Welcome & Introductions – A quick icebreaker to get to know one another and go over class expectations
2. Warm-Up Problem – A short, engaging math question to get our brains ready
3. Mini-Lesson – A brief review of the week’s focus skill, explained in a clear and kid-friendly way
4. Skill Practice Game – An interactive game (often using Kahoot) to reinforce the concept in a fun way
5. Gimkit Time – We’ll wrap up with 5 minutes of fast-paced multiplication fact fluency practice on Gimkit

🤗Here's what parents are saying about my teaching style and other classes:

"Jennifer is wonderful with the kids... I've never seen my kids eager to attend a session, so that's a BIG plus. My girls were excited to do the Kahoot activities at the end and for practice."

"My granddaughter has enjoyed this program. Pacing is great. All learners are participating. Good lesson and then she enjoys the kahoot game."

"This was a great class and the teacher kept it fun! I feel much better that my child will be more prepared for the school year and I think he does too. My son also really enjoyed the Kahoot! games at the end. I even think he enjoyed the additional Kahoot! challenges that were sent out after class as well. I would certainly like to sign my son up for this teacher again. Great experience!"
