Topics: - In this course students will practice comparing and adding fractions. Class Structure: - At the beginning of class we will go over how to compare and add fractions. - Students will have guided practice within the group - Students will review with a game Interactions: Each student will get the opportunity to answer or ask questions throughout the class. No prior knowledge is required, however basic knowledge of some fractions is recommended. VA SOL Standards 3.2 The student will a) name and write fractions and mixed numbers represented by a model; b) represent fractions and mixed numbers with models and symbols; and c) compare fractions having like and unlike denominators, using words and symbols (>, <, =, or ≠), with models.

I will be using kahoot to play reinforcement games. Google slides will be used to present material and contain worksheets and other materials the student will be using in class.
