Beginner - Intermediate Level
This is a small group 3rd Grade Math class. There will only be 10 students in each class. This class is a good fit for students that have completed 2nd Grade Math and want to get a head start for the next school term. This class is also a good fit for students that have completed 3rd Grade Math but want to review those critical skills taught during the school year. The students will be reviewing or learning new skills for 3rd Grade. Lessons will be taught using the Zoom whiteboard. I will be using the I do, we do, you do strategy for the lessons. The students will be given individual time to complete problems on the whiteboard to show understanding. *** At the end of class, the students will participate in a review using Kahoot games. This is a fun way for the students to show what they have learned.*** ***Students will not be transferred to different sections once the class has started. The class recording will be available for any missed classes.***

In this lesson students will learn how to round whole numbers to any place. 45 mins online live lesson
Lesson 3:
Use Place Value and Expanded Form to Add/Subtract Whole Numbers
In this lesson students will use place value strategies to add and subtract whole numbers. 45 mins online live lesson
Lesson 4:
Use the Number Line to Add/Subtract Whole Numbers
In this lesson students will use various strategies to add and subtract whole numbers using the number line. 45 mins online live lesson
