Class Experience

US Grade 3
In this 3rd Grade Review Camp we will review the common core math standards that students are taught in 3rd grade.

Day 1: Multiplication- On day 1, we will practice our multiplication equations 0-12. I will show students some tricks help solve problems if they don't have them memorized.
Day 2: Input/output tables and balancing equations- on day 2 we will practice completing input/ output tables and balancing equations.
Day 3: Word problems- We will practice 1 step and 2 step word problems with addition, subtraction, and multiplication
Day 4: Fractions- We will practice making and identifying fractions. We will also practice finding equivalent fractions. 
Day 5: Addition/Subtraction- On the last day, we will practice adding and subtracting numbers into the thousands, with and without borrowing and regrouping. 

Students will have many opportunities to discuss how they are solving their problems and ask questions.

Students will need paper and pencil or whiteboard and marker for each class.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
