Description
Class Experience
This will be the first semester of two. If learners take both semesters, they will receive a complete 3rd-grade math curriculum. This class is taught using Eureka Math, a US standards-based curriculum. Each lesson will consist of a pre-recorded video with slides to introduce the topic, a Zearn Math digital lesson to reinforce the topic, and a worksheet to complete independently. Students will master an entire semester of 3rd-grade math including topics like multiplication and division of friendly/tricky numbers and measuring.
I have been teaching for nine years in a homeschool and co-op setting. Three of those years have been specifically focused on 3rd-grade subjects including math.
Worksheets will be posted with every lesson. Student notes pages will be posted weekly. (These will go with the Zearn digital lessons)

In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
No live meetings, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
Zearn Math will be used as an outside resource. It will require a log-in that will be provided the first week of class. YouTube will be used to host the pre-recorded video lessons and will be embedded in the classroom.
