π‘We Make Math Make Sense!π‘ In this engaging "minds on" camp, we will review 3rd grade math standards through direct instruction, guided practice, problem solving, games, and Number Talks. This course is ideal for students who have just completed 3rd grade and want to strengthen their skills before moving on to 4th, or for higher achieving students entering 3rd grade in the fall who want to get a jump start on their 3rd grade math skills. πLeaves of Learning Academy is rated "Popular" by Outschool because we are in the top 10% of all teachers on Outschool. This means we offer classes that are in high demand that fill up quickly! π Here is what some Outschool parents have to say about this class: π¬"Loved this class. My girl learnt a lot from this class. Mrs. Christy is amazing teacher. She has lots of patience and goes through the steps and is very detail oriented. Helps kids with step by step instructions. Thank you so much. Will definitely recommend this class for the kids going to 3rd grade. " π¬"The way she explained the lessons my child was able to easily understand and learn. Can definitely tell she is a licensed teacher." π¬"My son enjoyed the class. It was well organized. The teacher did a good job explaining things to the students." In third grade, multiplication and division are introduced. A majority of the year is spent focusing on the understanding of these two operations and the relationship between them. By the end of third grade, your child should have all their multiplication facts (up to 100) memorized. We will work on this in our camp to solidify that fact knowledge.
