Learners will master place value, rounding, addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, area, perimeter, & geometry with an experienced, licensed 3rd grade math teacher. Optional assignments provided after each class.

1 hour per week. Optional assignments and resources will be given in between class sessions for additional practice.
Assessment
Personalized feedback is given to each learner during class. If learners submit the completed, optional handouts after class, feedback will be given on those as well.

In this engaging "minds on" camp, we will review 3rd grade math standards through direct instruction, guided practice, problem solving, games, and Number Talks. This course is ideal for students who have just completed 3rd grade and want to strengthen their skills before moving on to 4th, or for higher achieving students entering 3rd grade in the fall who want to get a jump start on their 3rd  grade math skills.

In third grade, multiplication and division are introduced. A majority of the year is spent focusing on the understanding of these two operations and the relationship between them. By the end of third grade, your child should have all their multiplication facts (up to 100) memorized. We will work on this in our camp to solidify that fact knowledge.

βœ…Refunds are not guaranteed in the event that your learner misses a past or future class meeting due to a schedule conflict, and will depend on the class-specific refund policy.
