📚 3rd Grade Online Class Description 📝 What Will Be Taught? This 36-week, 3rd-grade online course provides a balanced education in reading, writing, math, science, and social studies, designed to strengthen foundational skills, encourage critical thinking, and spark curiosity through interactive lessons and hands-on activities. 📖 What Topics Will Be Covered? 🔹 Reading & Writing – Fluency, comprehension, main ideas, summarizing, opinion writing, narratives, research skills, poetry, and creative writing. 🔹 Math – Place value, multiplication, division, fractions, measurement, geometry, and multi-step problem-solving. 🔹 Science – Life cycles, weather, forces & motion, matter, the solar system, energy, ecosystems, and STEM projects. 🔹 Social Studies – Geography, U.S. government, historical figures, economics, map skills, and cultural traditions. 🔹 Creative Learning – Art, music, and hands-on STEM projects to enhance learning. ⏳ How Is the Class Structured? Each class meets three days per week for 3 hours and follows a structured schedule: 1️⃣ Warm-up & Review (15 min) – Daily check-in, interactive discussions, quick review. 2️⃣ Core Subjects (135 min total, rotating focus) - Reading & Writing (45 min) - Math (45 min) - Science or Social Studies (45 min) 3️⃣ Interactive Learning & Review (30 min) – Games, projects, discussions, movement activities. 🎯 How Will I Teach? I use an engaging, multi-sensory approach that makes learning interactive and meaningful.
