The cost of the class is for a full-year 3rd-grade learning experience. Students will have access to Zearn and Lalilo as learning interventions. Zearn Math is a complete math program that provides Common Core-aligned math lessons, personalized to individual learners and based on Eureka Math. Classes focus on three critical components: deep understanding, fluency, and problem-solving. Lalilo focuses on essential literacy skills like reading, word families, and letter sound recognition. Lalilo is web-based, easy to set up, and can be accessed through most devices. Teachers can assign specific lessons based on students' needs. Once students get going, Lalilo offers consistent feedback and reinforcement to help them work away at their own pace.

All class materials will be provided to students through the Outschool platform and/or Google Classroom.

We will read reading materials during our class visits. All reading materials will be on-grade level. Homework will be given every day in class and posted in the classroom. Although homework is optional, it is strongly encouraged for learners to complete it as extra practice. Every assignment is due; sometimes, it will be the next day or at the end of the lesson; the teacher will be sure to mention it in the class posting.

Project: Projects are assigned from time to time and are optional. Students will receive a full details rubric and a sample when projects are assigned. Students typically have about a week or so to work on their projects.

MISSED CLASSES AND REFUND POLICIES
Refunds follow the ‘Limited’ model. Students may withdraw up to a week before class starts with a full refund. Within this time frame, students may transfer to a new section up to 48 hours before start time but are no longer entitled to a refund. In the event a student misses a class, recordings are privately made available in each classroom by request ONLY. Once the class has ended there will be no refund issued. This also APPLIES to private classes due to the busy schedule outside of classes. There will be no makeup class. You will receive a video as a makeup class.

TRANSFERS
Once a class has ended there will be no transfer allowed. Please ensure that your student attends the scheduled class. However, if you would like a transfer prior to the scheduled class, I will grant it.

In the rare event, that a class is canceled for technical issues, the class will be rescheduled at the earliest available date and time. When classes are not able to be rescheduled a refund will be issued. For one-time classes, parents may opt for a refund instead of joining the new time but will lose access to the recorded class.
