Each week this interactive spelling course will introduce your student to a unique set of spelling words and focus on word meaning, spelling patterns, synonyms, antonyms, prefixes, suffixes, roots and word analogies.
Class experience
US Grade 3 - 4
This spelling course will offer a new and unique set of words each week focused on a specific spelling rule of pattern. A total of 36 weeks of spelling lists are offered before the curriculum is repeated. If a student completes every lesson that would be a total of 540 spelling/vocabulary words! Class will include instruction in not only the spelling and meaning of each word, but also word morphology. Students will learn about suffixes, prefixes, roots, synonyms, antonyms, and word...
Student will become familar with common spelling patterns and rules. Students will strengthen decoding skills. Students will strengthen vocabulary skills.
I am a retired elementary teacher with experience in public, private and homeshool environments. I absolutely love teaching this age group of students and watch them develp good spelling, word study skills and broaden their vocabulary.
