3rd and 4th Grade Summer Grammar Camp Readiness

In this ongoing course, students will learn a comprehensive curriculum, punctuation, capitalization, singular and plural nouns and so much more. This class is designed for both 3rd and 4th graders.

Class Experience

US Grade 3 - 4
In this ongoing class, this class is taught by Ms. Jasmine, who is a ceritified teacher. She has a great way of making the class fun and very engaging. Students will learning  learn grammar skills necessary for reading and writing. Each class will focus on one aspect of grammar and review at the end of class. Printables are available for those who may need more practice. During our class session we will start with a journal prompt and student are encourage to share their entry. We will also  practice with sentences structure and editing paragraphs. Students will learn how to answer short answers through their journal prompts. Activities may include worksheets and writing sentences. Each class, has a new topic/lesson therefore, parents are free to withdraw their learners as they see fit and re-enroll without feeling behind.

June 8: Predicates in sentences
June 15: Subject and object personal pronouns
June 22:  Run-on Sentence
June 29: Abbreviations
July 6: (no class)
July 13: Compound Subject
*July 20: Order Adjectives
July 27: Capitalizing the names of historical events, periods, and documents
August 3: Abstract nouns
*August 10: Plural nouns with -ves
August 17: Relative pronouns: whose/which/that
August 24: Using “a” and “an” 
August 31: Past tense verbs
September 7: Comparative adjectives: adjectives with 'er' 
September 14: Adverbs tell us how, where, or when
September 21: Identifying the subject in sentences

This is an ongoing class, therefore parents come writhdraw students and re-enroll as they see fit. Each has a new subject.
