In this course, the students will be able to grow a deeper understanding of what science is and how we can easily find science around us. The students will use their 3 senses to make observations, predictions, and classify!

Class Experience

US Grade 3 - 4
Beginner - Intermediate Level
The course will be taught by introducing a new topic each week that will contain a video or more (depending on the length of the lesson). Topics that will be covered will be all about a scientist, how objects move, matter, objects in the sky, weather and seasons and much more! I will begin the lessons with some review tips from the previous lesson and end the lesson with wrapping up what was taught.

The learning goal is for the students to build more knowledge of science. The students must realize that science is around us and that it is constantly changing.

 The students will be able to demonstrate safe practices as described in the Texas Safety Standards.

 The students will be able to create a map and/or data chart using tools and current technology to organize, examine, and evaluate measured data.

 The students will be able to connect grade- level appropriate science concepts with the history of science, science careers, and contributions of scientists.

Lesson 4:
States of Matter
 The students will be able to describe and classify samples of matter as solids, liquids, and gases. The students will also be able to predict, observe, and record changes in the state of matter caused by heating or cooling.

YouTube will be used to introduce a topic such as orgnaisms and their environment. An account may need to be created.
