In this ongoing class, we will build on the fundamentals of math learned in grades K-2nd. I like to engage the class in a discussion so I can assess where they are in their understanding of the concepts. I always try to get every learner involved in the class, and will encourage even the most shy students to participate at their own comfort level. Students will learn concepts taught in 3rd grade, with some extension into 4th, and will have a better understanding of math overall. We will dive into fractions, multiplication and division facts, word problems, geometry, and longer addition and subtraction problems.
Homework Offered
Short 10-20 minute optional assignments will be offered after most classes. **I am happy to check students' individual homework if they show their work, take a picture of it, and send it to me in the classroom or via email.**0 - 1 hours per week outside of class
