In this 6-day tween book club camp, students will discuss The Unicorn Rescue Society (Book 4) "The Chupacabras of the Rio Grande" with a focus on the order of events, plot prediction, & lively discussion of character's choices & behaviors.

Class Experience

Students will independently read the text and leave class with a full understanding of the plot, deeper themes, and critical thinking practice regarding character behavior and choices. 
Please have your child read the first SIX chapters in the book before the first class meeting. Students will be assigned reading after each class meeting.

Students will need to obtain a copy of The Unicorn Rescue Society (Book 4) "The Chupacabras of the Rio Grande" by Adam Gidwitz and David Bowels for this camp. You can check out a copy from your local library or purchase a copy here:
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Assessment upon request.
3 hours per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
