Boost your child's spatial intelligence with my 2 week course where they'll gain invaluable skills in spatial sense, isometric and orthographic cube stacking, and the art of creating simple engineering drawings.

Class experience

US Grade 9 - 12
Beginner Level
This class is taught in English.
Students will improve their spatial visualization skills and they will learn how to use this skill in an engineering application
I am an environmental engineer with a B.S. in Environmental Engineering.
Homework Offered
Every class will have assigned worksheets. We will try to start them in class if we have time but they are meant to be done at home. Spatial sense is a muscle that requires practice and these worksheets help your student flex their muscles. The homework is not required and is only meant to be helpful. Solutions will be provided after class so your student can check their work.

👉 TinkerCAD computer aid design for kids (free)

 https://www.tinkercad.com

👉 AutoCAD computer aid design: this is a professional CAD program - this page lists all of the Autodesk programs - you may be able to get a discounted price

https://www.autodesk.com/education/edu-software/overview?sorting=featured&filters=individual

👉 College Credit: you can get college credit by enrolling in a CAD course. You can do this through your local "community college" OR "university extension". These courses are specific to your area but some key words to use in your search are: "AutoCAD", "Computer Aid Design", "Architecture computer drafting", "Computer aid design and drafting" " CADD Program (Computer-Aided drafting and design"

*some AutoCAD courses are based out of architecture firms. My autoCAD courses were out of these types of firms and the education is still very much relevent.

👉 LEGO: Building with LEGOS is one of the best ways of building your spatial visualization skills!
