Do you like to build and design? Let’s learn how to make 3D paper sculpture! This class will introduce you to a variety of ways to build and engineer 3D structures using just paper! I will demonstrate a variety of ways to fold, cut, and attach paper to create the 3D shapes. You can follow along with me to create your own shapes at home. You can then use these skills to develop your own unique paper sculptures. Maybe you’ll build a tower or a playground or a forest...the possibilities are...
Students will learn at least 6 methods for creating 3D shapes out of paper.
3-4 pieces of paper. Copy paper works fine. Construction paper, junk mail, or large scraps of paper also work fine. Scissors Tape, glue stick, or glue Pen, pencil, or markers
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
This class does require the use of scissors. Students will be cutting strips of paper, squares, and circles. Parent assistance ,ay be needed to ensure proper and safe scissor use. Thank you.
