Class Experience

This course will begin with students tracing or drawing the letters of their first name. The teacher will then demonstrate, via live video, how to create a vanishing point in the drawing. Students will then connect the letters to the vanishing point, to change the letters from 2 dimensional shapes into 3 dimensional forms.

Learning Goals

The student will understand how perspective is used to create depth and space in works of art. This skill can also be used in forms of graffiti or landscapes.
