Description

Class Experience

Learn math (geometry) through pop-up cards! 
In this camp you will learn how to make squares, rectangles, triangles and similar shapes in order to be able to make a Spaceship as your final project!

If you’ve already attended my classes before then you are ready to dive into this fun course!
Even if you haven't attended any pop-up card classes you are still welcome to join and try it out, this class does not build up on the previous classes.

**You will learn the basic pop-up principles...

Students will experiment with paper of different sizes, colours and thickness and practice cutting and folding different shapes . The result is to have fun and create a project by adding some drawings to complete the story. 
They can even decorate the card the way they like with the materials they already have.

Visual Merchandising Arts Diploma from Seneca College School of Fashion

Card Stock or other heavy-weight paper (a few, different colour)
Glue stick / White Glue/ Rubber Cement 
Scissors
Ruler
Pencil
Crayons or other colour pencils
Cutting mat (it can be useful for measurement too (easier than a ruler) so bring one if you have it!)

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

2 hours per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.

Parents will need to monitor their children when cutting with scissors.
