In this ONGOING class, learners will have one on one instruction to help improve their reading, reading comprehension, writing, vocabulary, and/or grammar skills. Each class is individualized and based on parents' requests.

This class is taught in English.
- Learners will work comfortably at their own pace and level to improve in phonics, reading, writing, grammar, and/or vocabulary. This could be through identification of letter sounds, sight words, CVC words, or more advanced concepts in grammar, sentence structure, and essay writing.
I have taught since 1994. I have taught 3rd, 5th, and 6th grades in public schools and am currently a reading and writing interventionist in a middle school. I have privately tutored all ages and have a Bachelor’s Degree in Education with a minor in English. I'm TESOL, TEFOL, and ESL certified. In addition, I'm passionate about helping students reach their full potential while enjoying learning.

Some of the programs listed require parental consent. These programs will be used to engage and informally assess students. Kahoot IXL Learning **These might be used during our time together. Other programs that might be used are Google Docs, Google Slides, and Google Forms.
