--------------------------------------
WHAT TO EXPECT DURING THE CLASS:

- Meet and Greet time for Teacher and Students.
- Share last weeks drawing/coloring.
- Introduction to our Pokemon of the week.
- Drawing Techniques
- Draw The Pokemon
- Share your picture with the class.
- Coloring suggestions (homework)

- During this class, we ONLY draw. Teacher Billy will explain different color suggestions and add these in the classroom page for the students to see.

Please have your child color their photo and then take a photo and add it to our classroom page. THIS IS A VERY IMPORTANT STEP!

***Please note: After 3 years of teaching this class, I have discovered that the coloring process is a personal creative moment for the student and an important time for the student to not feel rushed to finish. Therefore, I have made the decision to decrease the price of the class from $10.00 to $8.00 and the time from 40 minutes to 35 minutes.

***It is very important to me to have each student post a photo of their drawing so that I can see and make comments for them.

***The coloring process can happen right after the class or they can do it some time during the week for added learning. This should be treated as their homework. I will ask to see their photo before each class begins.

WHAT WILL YOU NEED:
- blank, white paper
- pencil
- eraser
- pencil sharpener
- Black marker (Sharpie)

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
(Flex option: Due to very busy and changing schedules, some choose this option for learning.
Some learners sign up for this class and do not attend the meeting. Instead, they will receive a recording of our class and do it on their own time. After you finish your drawing, please take a photo and send to me so I can give you positive feedback.)

***PLEASE KNOW: Your child does not need to speak English to do this class! Please just remind me in our chat box during the beginning of each class.

***Please feel free to join and leave the club whenever you want. However, seating is limited so if you leave for a week, I can not guarantee there will be an available seat when you return.

***If a schedule conflict happens or if you are going on vacation, please do not cancel. I will have other times that I can switch your Pokemon fan to for that week only.

***Sometimes drawing takes longer for some students. With this in mind, sometimes the class can be 45 minutes long. I will try my best not to let it go any longer than this.

Hello! I’m Billy, and I’m thrilled to be your child’s guide on this amazing artistic journey! My greatest joy comes from teaching children and seeing their faces light up with smiles and excitement.

For the past 12 years, I’ve traveled around the world, immersing myself in diverse cultures and creative experiences. Currently, I’ve been living in Egypt for the past 7 years, where I continue to explore and inspire. My international journey has enriched my teaching with a global perspective and a deep appreciation for various artistic traditions.

In addition to my work in performance—where I teach acting and singing to the children of top movie stars—I have extensive experience teaching children how to draw. With over 30 years of experience as a professional actor, singer, director, and choreographer, I bring a wealth of knowledge and passion to my teaching. I’ve developed a unique approach that combines artistic skills with storytelling and exploration. My drawing classes focus on nurturing creativity, mastering techniques, and helping students express themselves through art.

My students have gone on to shine on Broadway in shows and famous TV Shows! Many of them have also developed impressive skills in drawing and other creative areas.

I hold a Bachelor's degree in Performing Arts/Dance and a Master's degree in Education. My teaching philosophy is all about sparking imagination, embracing creativity, and making learning as fun as possible. In my drawing classes, I aim to make each session an engaging adventure where students can explore new techniques, share their work, and gain confidence in their artistic abilities.

I’m incredibly proud of my students and excited to bring that same passion and dedication to your child. I can’t wait to meet them and start this creative adventure together as part of the OUTSCHOOL family!
