Class Experience
This class is set up as an ongoing weekly private oboe lesson. It's perfect for students of all levels who may need more individualized attention, especially those who are looking to catch up or get ahead in their oboe playing. Students who are excelling on the instrument benefit from being able to work on music that is more difficult and move at a faster pace. Students are welcome to bring any music they're working on to the lesson. If students don't have that available, level appropriate...
This class is taught in English.
Students are expected to practice the music assigned between lessons. Each individual student will be given an appropriate practice routine that will be based on their individual needs and goals.
The books required will be dependent upon the needs and goals of the individual student. Method Books may include the Rubank Elementary/Intermediate/Advanced books, Pares Scales for Oboe, and the Barret Oboe Method.
30 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
