I have over 20 years experience teaching and tutoring math from pre-algebra through AP Calculus AB. I hold an advanced professional teaching certification in mathematics for grades 8-12 in Maryland. I have a bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering and a master's degree in curriculum and instruction. For over a decade, I taught in public and private middle and high school classrooms.
***NOTE: The learner must respond to the Welcome Post in the classroom to let me know what math class these tutoring sessions will be supplementing. If I receive no communication from the learner or parent at least 24 hours prior to the session, I will cancel the session. If we will be working from materials for an existing class, make sure that I receive a file or screenshots of the problems your child wants to work on at least a few hours before the session. That will ensure that we can maximize math learning time rather than dealing with technical issues during the session.
