This class is the 30-minute version of my current class, Dangerous Monkeys Swing Backwards: Long Division.  I understand that not everyone is able to meet for 50 minutes.  In class, I will teach long division starting with the order of operations for long division using the sentence Dangerous Monkeys Swing Backwards: DMSB.  We will discuss what long division is and its purposes in the real world.  I will go step by step to make sure that your student leaves this class more confident in solving long division.  I will share tips and tricks and we will work through problems on the whiteboard.  Your student should already have an understanding or be working slightly strong in multiplication. Students leave knowing how to solve long division independently, but often choose to come back and 2nd, third, fourth time to build on their skills each time.  Students are able to level up to more difficult problems and skills if they take this class multiple times.  I am very patient, encouraging, and confident that your student will learn and/or improve in long division.
