Teacher expertise and credentials
Hello, I am Michael Calahan and I teach how to solve most Rubik's Cubes and other twisty puzzles. I also teach building and coding for the LEGO Robotic sets.
I started Rocket Science for Kids in 2006 to help students explore learning through LEGO and expanded to Rubik's Cube classes and Social Club's in 2019. I am thrilled to be 1 of 100 LEGO Education Certified Trainer's in the world. With over 20,000 students benefiting from our classes, I am excited to share what I have learned with your learners through the Outschool platform. I solved a few cube puzzles as a kid but really grasp the educational values over the past 6 years and now solve over 30 different cube/puzzles and counting!
My objective is to help your learner with all cubing and LEGO robotic questions and help them continue to expand to new cubes and best use their LEGO investment.
All learners are encouraged to develop team collaboration, ask questions, and engage others who want to explore topics that interest them. My classroom and STEAM education appreciate all cultures and all learning types. Our classroom is a safe space for your learner.
Look forward to meeting you.
