This is a 3-Day series. Students will meet 3 times to complete Part 3. Please note: Classes will meet 3 times within the same week for Summer Break & Winter Holiday weeks. Week 1Lesson 1RENDERING FOOTWEARStudents will learn how to draw different kinds of footwear, adding details and texture for emphasis, and showing the accessory from different angles.Lesson 2RENDERING HANDBAGS & PURSESFashion handbag illustrations focus on the 2-D dimensional drawing of the structure for the handbag shape. To complete the look students will learn how to render materials and stitching realistically.Lesson 3RENDERING JEWELRY & OTHER ACCESSORIESStudents will learn the process of designing and drawing jewelry accessories, understanding the intricate details and technical structures to make new and beautiful designs.

Students learn to draw step-by-step, understand the core principles, master tools and techniques, compare materials, trust their intuition and vividly express themselves and convey their fashion ideas through sketching and illustrations.
Teacher Angela is a versatile graphic artist who holds a BFA in graphic design from the Rhode Island School of Design. Her expertise extends to various art forms, including still life, landscape, and figure drawing. She is also skilled in fashion, 3D clay design, animation, and photography. Teacher Angela is known for fostering an environment that encourages her students to think beyond conventional boundaries, recognizing the profound impact of creativity on learning and development. Teacher Palm is a professional fashion and costume designer familiar with the complete product creation life cycle from initial concept to constructed design. She holds a degree in Fashion Design from The Parsons School of Design in New York. In addition to over 10 years of teaching art and fashion, she is also experienced in staging collections in numerous international Fashion Shows for luxury clients including Tory Burch, Diane von Furstenberg, Ann Taylor and Kenneth Cole. She gained valuable industry experience in the capacity of Creative Consultant for designers, theaters and art schools. Palm is also proficient in a wide range of fine arts such as watercolor, oil, pencil, pastel, etc. and approaches her teachings with a calm mind, optimism and positive affirmation.
