Class Experience

In this Flex class we will be playing the Game of Dungeons and Dragons using the Play By Post  (Play by Online Forum) format.  Play by Post allows students in different time zones and schedules to play a game together.

You will need a level 3 Character and the 7 game dice to play.

 The choices students make in the game will effect how the story is told. Students will need to post each day in class to keep the story moving.

Students will work on writing skills as they play the games Dungeons and Dragons in the 
Play by Post style.

I run Dungeons and Dragons Games  several time weekly in person at my board game and toy shop. I have serval dungeons and dragon classes on Outschool.  I have been playing Dungeons and Dragons for many years.

Students will need to post in the classroom at least once per day Monday through Friday. Students can catch up on missed posts on Saturday and Sunday.

Students will need a filled out character sheet and a set of the seven dice used for the game. 

Optional:
A Dungeons & Dragons player's handbook
A dungeons and dragons monster manual

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

No Assessment

No live meetings, and maybe some time outside of class.

This class contain elements of fantasy violence such as fighting monsters and using magic spells.
