This class is taught in English.
Students will learn how to draw digitally step by step, understand digital art concepts and processes, master the tools given, compare different techniques to accomplish a task, and trust their own art style to express their illustrations.
Teacher Sarah is a professional digital art graphic artist, familiar with the processes of creating and constructing illustrations.
HARDWARE: Computer or Drawing tablet with a stylus SOFTWARE: Teacher will use a program called Clip Studio Paint. Here is the link for a free 3 month trial download: https://www.clipstudio.net/en/purchase/trial/ Clip Studio Paint is an all-rounded program that has similar functions as more sophisticated programs. It is compatible for both Mac and Windows. We would like to keep it cost-free to start for beginners. Once students have mastered the initial skill sets, they will be able to comfortably upgrade their software or transition to other programs. However, if your learner would like to use a specific program he/she is familiar with, our teacher has knowledge on a wide variety of softwares including Photoshop, Procreate, GIMP, Sketchbook, Krita, etc. Some of these programs will incur a fee.
2 hours 45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
