3 Day Camp: Intro to Fashion Design I
In this introductory course, the student will create textile design print patterns to apply to their own fashion design collection. Different prints will be drawn onto their own personalized fashion illustrations.

Interested in learning fashion skills? In this virtual camp, the student will create a mood board and fashion collection, including a Mixed Media Flower Illustration project while learning about the fashion industry, textiles, and design. Day 1: Mixed Media Flower Illustration - Bring fake or real flowers because today we will be drawing a fashion figure and making a fashion design with our florals glued onto paper. Real flower designs will need to be photographed after class to preserve the memory. Day 2: Mood Board - We will create a Fashion Mood Board. We will discuss options to design them: digital or paper. Day 3: Create a fashion collection based on your mood board. We will practice drawing our fashion illustrations, and discussing different techniques for drawing clothes and coloring them.
