Let's celebrate the Olympians and world athletes by drawing athletes in "kawaii chibi" style. We will draw a boy, girl or gender neutral character in this style inspired from "anime" and "manga" (Japanese cartoon).

Ready to celebrate summer sports in a creative way? During this 3-day summer camp, students will draw characters to represents the thousands of athletes participating in the sports competition around the world. We will use the "Kawaii Chibi" style in drawing. This style is inspired from the "anime" and "manga" style of Japanese cartoon. The teacher will present characters and lead students in drawing the characters. However, if students want to make changes to the drawings to reflect their personality, it is ok. **Note: Class was originally created to celebrate the summer Olympics in Japan.
