Description
Class Experience
I am a full time art educator. I teach High School for the largest district in NW Ohio. I am also a working artist and specialize in mixed metal etching and jewelry making, painting, moss wall art and fibers. I travel during the summer and participate in some of the largest art shows in the country.
**Students should gather for the class: 1 old, bound, hardback journal-encyclopedia, dictionary, etc. 1 pkg cardboard gears (https://www.scrapbook.com/store/par-adpshape179.html?w=steampunk+) Pages torn from old books-no glossy paper Strips of thin cardboard Various items to glue onto the cover-broken jewelry, small wooden items, small metal or cardboard gears, buttons, soda tabs, found objects, ribbons- think parts of things from a junk drawer Flat Black spray paint (small can) Copper and Antique Gold Rub and Buff metallic paint Weld Bond Liquid glue (any quick dry and permanent glue) Scissors Paper towels
55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
