Class Experience

Parents are acquainted with the importance of speaking multiple languages for their kids in today’s world! And Mandarin ranks among the top when it comes to the most relevant and useful languages to know now. So, do you want to get your child start on learning the Chinese language? Join me in this 5 lesson camp!  

In every 20 minutes lesson, your child will be able to explore basic Mandarin vocabulary regarding countries/nationalities/language, utilize core word is/speak/from to generate sentences, and explore Chinese cultures through hands-on activities. Besides, all content will be reviewed and connected throughout the camp. The sessions will also offer animated pictures and songs to help engage students with learning. Positive reinforcements will also be provided to praise good behaviors and hard work.

Hi, my name is Gail. I am a certified K-12 classroom teacher in the State of Florida. I will offer classes that are related to Mandarin/Chinese learning for kids and fun ELA & Math lesson for emergent learners or students with special needs. 

I enjoy teaching and see it as the mission of my life. I have a master degree in education and have been a classroom teacher for 8 years. My certifications are in the area of Elementary Education K-6, Exceptional Education K-12, ESOL K-12, and Reading Endorsement K-12. Throughout my years of teaching, I have learned the power of differentiation and positive reinforcement, I also know how I can best help students learn and grow. 

My favorite part of teaching is to create an interesting and engaging curriculum and watching students get actively involved in taking ownership of their learning. As a dedicated educator, I am very hard-working, creative, and passionate. 

As a native Chinese speaker. I am passionate about teaching students Mandarin. I would also utilize my expertise in special education to create interactive ELA and Math classes.
