Class Experience

In this ongoing course, students will learn how to read, write and identify a handful of sight words each week. This will be a highly interactive course that encourages students to read the sight word aloud, as well as practice writing the words (with provided printables), and identify the word in a given situation. We will continue to work through all of the second grade sight words until we have worked through them all. We will go back and touch on some words we struggled with at the end.

Learners will also create a sight word flip book, adding new words to it each week. When the class is completed, they will have a complete sight word flip book to be able to study from and practice with.

This class will loop. I keep track of when your child started, and will message you 2 weeks before your child will loop back to their beginning.

**This class will include printables. PLEASE have these printed out and ready for class so your learner can fully participate! :)**

Your learner can join in at any time or stick around to master those 2nd grade sight words!

Teacher expertise and credentials
Hello! Thank you for stopping by to check out my classes! I hold a Bachelors degree in Elementary Education, and I have over 5 years of experience in the education community! My passion to be a teacher developed at a young age when I would play school with my sister, and I ALWAYS had to be the teacher. I believe kids are sponges that are so eager to soak up any information you give them, they are our future! In my classroom, I love to keep students engaged and having fun! I do a lot of hands on learning in my classroom. Currently I offer some core classes such as math, writing, and sight word classes. I also have some 'special' classes such as show and tell and arts and crafts club. I constantly have new class ideas, so check back often for new classes! I am a dog mamma of a pure white German shepherd and an Aussie mix! I hope to see you in a future class!
