This course is designed to review 2nd math grade standards and skills in order to get your student prepared for 3rd grade. I teach with the Gradual Release Teaching strategy, which means we practice problems using the "I Do, We Do, You Do" method. I model and explain problems, then we do similar problems together and lastly individuals do problems independently. This helps students build confidence in their mathematics ability.
