The course will build a learners reading comprehension by focusing on strategies such as summarizing, synthesizing, theme, characters, and much more. We will read a variety of genres such as fantasy, infromational, biography, and much more. Each lesson will start with an overview of the vocabulary words and anchor charts of the strategies, then a teacher read aloud, then close the lesson with a discussion of the organizers that we will create together.
