Class Experience

US Grade 2
This class will cover a full year of second grade reading comprehension, grammar, and vocabulary curriculum. Each week will be based around a read aloud book that the teacher will read. We will discuss the book, use a different reading comprehension strategy to explore and further understand the book. Each week we will take a closer look at the meaning of key words related to our book of the week through a variety of activities to help us expand our vocabulary. There will also be a grammar focus for each week as well. Each class will have a mini lesson where the teaching topic of the day will be introduced, group discussion and practice, and independent practice. I will use interactive slides and/or Jamboard in my lessons.
